Competency Development

Organizations often consider generic certification a primary route to developing their professional teams. However, there might be better-starting points than certifications.

In Uruk Project Management, we believe organizations must build and sustain the proper organizational project management system with the three pillars of people (competence), processes (methods), and tools (technology).

With the proper OPMS, we can develop an appropriate leadership and competency development program. The program accounts for the candidates’ level within the organization and their roles in project, program, and portfolio management roles.

The program can include multiple components such as:

  • Building the competency program and competencies for the various roles;
  • Training via an applied, project-based learning style and could include a blend of an online and in-person session
  • Coaching and mentoring
  • Shadowing program
